it's the end of an era and the beginning of a new chapter.

Join us for an "Aloha" goodbye/hello party to get your last cone here, and preview our upcoming new space at Autistry Studios, just 2 doors down! 

Here's the schedule:

-Get some ice cream at 860 Fourth St. all day & night!

-Coffee 9 am-2 pm @Autistry Studios, 850 4th St. (2 doors down)

- 3-6 pm: Open House at Autistry 

Preview the new space, try our coffee, and learn about Autistry!

Live music, refreshments, and storytelling

- 6-11 pm: Karaoke Dance Party at Double Rainbow

We currently manage a coffee shop at Autistry, where their students learn job skills as employees. We plan to be fully moved in to sell ice cream at the coffee shop by October. Double Rainbow Cafe rents the coffee shop from Autistry Studios and assists with training students in their vocational program. 

Donations for this fundraiser go to Double Rainbow, a for-profit company. We encourage you to support Autistry at www.autistrystudios.com/donate.

Is Autistry open to the public? Where can we learn more?

Absolutely! We are honored to share the spotlight with this remarkable organization. Double Rainbow runs the coffee shop inside Autistry, which trains students in job skills, sells delicious coffee, and is open for business! Please spread the word.

What will change between the old Double Rainbow and the new one?

Double Rainbow Cafe will now be called Double Rainbow Coffee & Ice Cream. 

Our ice cream menu will remain the same. We now offer high-quality coffee shop food and drink, such as housemade pastries. Soon, we will add Ethel’s incredible bagels- check them out!- as well as grab-and-go sandwiches. We will no longer serve entree-type food.

Our new hours of operation will tentatively be:

- 8:30 am to 10:00 pm, Monday to Thursday

-8:30 am to 11:00 pm, Friday

-9 am to 11 am, then 12 pm -10 pm Saturday 

- 12:00 pm to 10:00 pm on Sunday
